Election season is just getting started and the likes of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders are starting to make noise with their idea about how to “fix” America. In the coming months we are going to hear a lot from them about jobs, taxes, and education. Some of those comments are going to be well reasoned and some of them well…. aren’t.

Timothy J. Bartik, has put forth a strong argument that the candidates need to hear.  Bartik is an American economist who specializes in regional economics, public finance,  and urban economics. In this talk he outlines why making sure every child receives a worthy education isn’t just good for the child, but for all of us.
